Abstract

Practical solution attemps are described for incorporating by-products from bakery, dairy and brewery in diets for liquid feeding systems.

  Zusammenfassung

  • Die Verwendung alternativer Futterstoffe in der Schweinehaltung ist nicht nur ein Beitrag zum Stoffrecycling, sondern auch eine wirksame Methode zur Senkung der Futterkosten.
  • Eine gute Infrastruktur ist die Voraussetzung sowie eine Mindest-Größe der Schweineherde.
  • Das Handling der alternativen Futterstoffe bereitet dem Landwirt in der Regel deutlich größere Probleme, als der Einsatz der klassischen Futtermittel.
  • Jedes alternative Futtermittel hat sein eigenes "Problem-Profil".
  • In der Regel wächst die Verwendung alternativer Futtermittel auf den Betrieben langsam, weil zunächst Erfahrungen gesammelt und entsprechende Netzwerke bei der Versorgung aufgebaut werden müssen.
